If you can, we'd love to have an application from you. - Hard working and willing to do any job assigned?
- Mature enough to handle the emotional separation from family and friends?
- Willing to accept dormitory style living arrangements?
- Physically able to withstand the demands of a job at 8000 feet?
- Personable and friendly with a ready smile?
- Neat and clean in appearance and habits?
- An "outdoor" person who respects the environment, likes outdoor activities, likes the mountains and can be satisfied with the remote setting of the ranch.
- A person who enjoys people?
- A person who values his/her commitment to the ranch and the employer?
- Willing to accept direction from others and take responsibility for a job assigned?
- Willing to accept our guidelines for personal conduct?
GUIDELINES FOR PERSONAL CONDUCT Over the years we have found that a happy and efficient staff needs some guidelines to work together in a congenial atmosphere. By hiring staff that will fit within these guidelines, we have found that we bring together staff with common interests and goals in mind. We may sound a little "old fashioned", but besides working for us, you will be living with us. The entire ranch is an extension of our home, therefore, we expect our staff to share our values and standards of moral conduct while at the ranch. - "Noise" curfew on the ranch grounds is 10:00.
- Absolutely no drinking and/or drugs on the ranch property.
- Foul language prohibited in all areas of the ranch.
- Staff must be polite and courteous to ranch guests at all times.
- The staff will not be disruptive to guest activities. Stereos must not be heard outside cabins. No radios on the job.
- Clean, neat appearance is expected at all times. ABSOLUTELY NO BARE FEET, sandals, or clogs on the job. Employees must dress western while on the job. This is a ranch and ranch attire, such as jeans, walking shoes, or boots is expected.
- Dating among staff members is discouraged.
- Off ranch activities are very limited, therefore staff members usually spend the evenings around the ranch visiting with the guests and other staff members. Involvement with the guest activities is appreciated.
- Inviting friends or family to the ranch must be cleared by the management FIRST! We do not allow friends or family members to stay at the ranch for free. Please ask about the details.
